I've identified as many things over the years: a gay trans man, an activist and organiser, a traveller, and more.

An artist, though? No way.

Something magical happened in January 2024 when I picked up a paintbrush for the first time. In the midst of worldly anxiety, I found solace in a vibrant palette, release in working a canvas, and joy in the process of creation.

These days, I spend most of my free time putting paint to canvas in a modest Berlin atelier. I don't claim to be talented -- I'm untrained, messy, and imperfect. Nevertheless, I'm slowly embracing a new identity: "artist". [And if I can, you can too.]
